Had a lot of fun working on this project for John Ryland over at Classified Moto. Always a good time with that dude. This skate deck will be chopped down a bit and installed under the seat on one of their most recent custom motorcycles.

Art direction involved creating an image with 1) a fox and 2) red as the dominant color. John and I talked about, among other things, a sort of ‘junk yard dog’ style. I wanted to try out this odd birds-eye point of view of the fox laying on his back (which was pretty much impossible to find decent references images for) and went in a more 'romantic' direction with the field of red roses, adding the wrench in his mouth to keep a connection with the mechanical aspect.
