MISC OPEN STUDIO...
At the intersection of 14th and Hull Street is Mayo Island, named after the man who named our city.  Rumor has it the likes of Babe Ruth and Josh Gibson put on 9 inning exhibitions of America's greatest past time here.  On the island sits the buildings of what was the original Overnight Transportation Hub here in Richmond.  Now a collective of artists has taken over a former loading dock and second floor admin offices -- turned them into a front porch and studios to create: craft, photography, film, painting, illustration and design & branding.  We are the Mayo Island Studio Collective (MISC).

On Friday, September 21, 2012, 7-10PM -- we are unlocking the gates and invite you to our Open Studio
